M2-apps is a product operated by MAGICFORGE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16211132). M2-apps is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with any e-commerce platform it connects to. All product and platform names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
This Privacy Policy explains how MAGICFORGE LTD ("M2-apps", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when a merchant installs and uses the M2-apps tools and integrations. We act as a data processor on behalf of the merchants who use our tools, and as a data controller for the limited account and operational data we hold about merchants themselves.
M2-apps is a suite of tools and integrations for online merchants, operated by MAGICFORGE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16211132), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. This policy applies to the M2-apps application and our related interfaces. Where a merchant connects their store, the merchant is the controller of their customers' data and we process it on their instructions; for our direct relationship with the merchant we are the controller.
When a merchant installs M2-apps and authorizes access, we receive store information such as the store name and domain, contact details and configuration, and we access the store data needed to provide the tools, which may include product, order and customer information.
We automatically collect technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and usage and event data relating to how the tools are used.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the tools the merchant has asked for), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain and improve the service and to prevent fraud), consent (where required for any optional features), and legal obligation (accounting, tax and regulatory requirements).
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers that help us deliver M2-apps, each acting under contract:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Hosting & infrastructure | Running the application and storing data in a secure cloud environment. |
| Analytics & monitoring | Understanding usage, maintaining reliability and improving the tools. |
| Other service providers | Supporting communications, support and the operation of specific features the merchant enables. |
A current list of sub-processors is available on request from the contact below.
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, and to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.
We support the mandatory data protection requests issued by the platforms we integrate with, processed through the corresponding compliance webhooks:
| Request | What happens |
|---|---|
| Customer data request | We compile the personal data we hold about the identified customer and provide it to the merchant so they can respond to the data subject. |
| Customer redaction | We erase or anonymize the identified customer's personal data, subject to records we must retain by law. |
| Store redaction | After uninstallation, we erase or anonymize the store's data held by M2-apps, subject to legally required records. |
These requests are handled within the timeframe required by the applicable platform and by law.
Personal data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where data is transferred outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we put in place appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to recipients in countries with an adequacy decision.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Customers should usually contact the merchant whose store they purchased from. You can also contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our interfaces use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate, maintain your session and protect against fraud. Any optional analytics is used in line with the consent requirements that apply.
We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and segregation of sensitive credentials. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse and to respond promptly to any incident.
M2-apps is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process the personal data of children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, notify affected merchants.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the M2-apps tools and services (the "Service") provided by MAGICFORGE LTD ("M2-apps", "we", "us"). By installing, accessing or using the Service, the merchant ("you") agrees to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
M2-apps provides a suite of tools and integrations that connect to your online store to help you manage and operate it, understand your data, and streamline your day-to-day work. The specific features available may change over time as the Service evolves.
You must be a business able to enter into a binding contract and operate the store you connect. You are responsible for the security of your access credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
The Service connects to platforms and third-party services that operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for those services, for their availability, or for any action they take in relation to your account with them. Your use of them remains governed by your agreements with them.
The Service is currently provided free of charge to merchants approved by M2-apps. Where fees apply in future, they will be set out in a separate order or agreement, and we will give reasonable prior notice before they take effect. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or to use it in a way that breaches the rules of any platform or third-party service you connect. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached.
The Service, including its software, design and the M2-apps name and marks, is owned by MAGICFORGE LTD and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while these Terms are in force. You retain ownership of your own content and data.
Our handling of personal data is described in the , which forms part of these Terms. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we do so as your processor under applicable data protection law, on documented instructions, and with appropriate safeguards.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M2-apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M2-apps against claims, losses and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your store, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including the store data deletion process after uninstallation.
We may modify the Service or these Terms. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
